Hello from 1G. We have had such an exciting and busy start to the year. Here are some of the things we have been up to:
- Routines:) We have been learning all the routines we need to know to be successful at school. We already know our morning routines and have been working hard to remember our reading folders and homework books.
- Word Wall We love doing Word Wall! We have lots of songs and actions to help us learn our most important words. These are words we have to know to read. Some of them are 'naughty' words because the letters don't say what they are meant to.
- Literacy Block Our favourite part of literacy block is taking photos of our work. We have been making words with lots of different materials like play dough and magnet letters. Everyday we do a different activity in our literacy group.
- Singing Friday afternoon we love getting together with our 1M and prep friends for a sing along and sharing our learning.
